YRI in the press.
Coverage of the Fellowship, and everything a journalist needs to write about it: boilerplate, key facts, founder bio, headshots and logos. For interviews, data or student introductions, email ishan@yriscience.com.
The YRI Fellowship (Young Researchers Institute) is a research mentorship program that pairs high school students one-on-one with PhD mentors to take an original research question to a finished, first-author paper in ten weeks. Fellows have published at IEEE, Springer and Elsevier venues, qualified for Regeneron ISEF, and been admitted to Brown, Johns Hopkins, Stanford and Caltech. Every published paper is independently verifiable on the publisher’s own index. YRI is based in San Francisco and Bangalore and works with students in more than 50 countries.

Ishan Jain is the founder of the YRI Fellowship. A Regeneron ISEF finalist and Conrad Challenge top-five finisher, he has published in JAMA Cardiology and authored ten peer-reviewed papers presented at IEEE, ACM and Stanford. He started YRI to give high school students the same thing that changed his own trajectory: a real research question, a real mentor and a real publication.
Fellows who have published at IEEE and Springer, qualified for Regeneron ISEF, or been admitted to Brown, Johns Hopkins and Stanford are available for interviews with a parent’s consent. Their published work is indexed on the publisher’s own site, so every claim can be checked before print.
