Tested how well telescopes catch the shortest exoplanet transits, accepted at an IEEE conference
Space telescopes find planets by catching the tiny dip in starlight when a planet crosses its star, and very short transits are easy to miss depending on how often the telescope samples. Ana built a reproducible injection-and-recovery study modeled on TESS-like observations, planting simulated transits into data and measuring which ones survive detection, to map the risk that observing cadence hides real planets.
